Abstract

This research deals with one of the collections of Arabic poetry, our master (Humaid bin Thawr Al-Hilali) - may God be pleased with him - one of the veteran poets, a critical study and a balance between the two investigators: the distinguished professor / Abdul Aziz Al-Maimani - may God have mercy on him, and Dr. / Muhammad Shafiq Al-Bitar, so I balanced them in the work of the investigation; Each of them took a path in the investigation of this collection and followed a method, and I also commented and criticized what I found worthy of that and clarified the method Each of them, and I extracted the advantages and disadvantages, which prompted me to this study. This can be attributed to two reasons:
1- Because “Humayd” is a companion of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and one of those who came to him and greeted him and recited poetry to him, and the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, advised his companions to be good.
