Choices of Ibn Mutref Al-Kenani in his book Badi in Explaining the Seven Readings

Abstract

This research is related to one of the most important recitation issues that Sheikh Ibn Mutref al-Kinani presented in his book “Al-Badi’ fi Sharh al-Seven Recitations,” which is the issue of his selection of some Qur’anic readings; He presented her with a description and analysis; To arrive at the foundations and controls upon which he based his choices.
In this research, I was introduced to Sheikh Ibn Mutref Al-Kinani and his book “Al-Badi’ in Explanation of the Seven Readings”, then I introduced the choice and mentioned its origin, and the meaning of adding letters and readings to the Companions or the reciters.
It also dealt with the choice of Ibn Mutrif in the seven letters, the basmalah, and the takbeer, then it dealt with the bases and controls for choosing a particular recitation, such as language, meaning, readings of the companions, prophetic hadith, similar analogies, context, and more.
