Abstract

The research reviews five controversial issues in which Imam Ibn Katheer - may God have mercy on him - had his own choice after discussing the evidence of the sayings, then the weighting with mentioning the choice of Ibn Katheer in the controversial issues.
I first reviewed the research plan, then the method followed in the research, then I started listing the controversial issues, then I started by mentioning the issues, which are in order: the ruling on wearing a silver ring for men, the ruling on fasting on the day of Arafa for the pilgrim, the ruling on setting an upper limit for the dowries, the ruling on dismissing the imam with his immorality, and the ruling on setting an upper limit for dowries. Booty Thursday.
My methodology in the research was to mention the issue, then mention the sayings with the choice of Imam Ibn Katheer, or the consensus if the issue is unanimous on it, then mention the evidence of the sayings arranged with their discussion and then weighting.
