Abstract

 
The role of the purposes of Sharia in achieving intellectual security. This research is related to a very important issue - especially in recent times - after the emergence of a lot of extremist ideas which contradict the approach of Islam, whether in the images of individual ideas, or collective organizations as well as the emergence of propagandists of science, and the owners of extremist ideas, who try to lead young people to these misguided ideas. Therefore, the study of intellectual security has become necessary until the minds are on the correct approach. It is also necessary to indicate the means of achieving intellectual security at this time in particular. Among these means of intellectual security is to highlight the purposes of Sharia. The purpose of this research is to demonstrate the importance of intellectual security, as well as the importance of legitimate purposes and their role in evaluating ideas. Researchers used the analytical approach in explaining the relationship between legitimate purposes and the achievement of intellectual security. Researchers then analyzed this scientifically and reached several results. The most important of which are the following: - The purposes of Islamic legislation are one of the important foundations in building intellectual security. - Understanding the purposes has an impact on maintaining the protection and stability of society.
