Abstract

This study examines the personal biography of Imam Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Khuzaymah al-Sulami Nisaburi , his birth, scholarly upbringing, travels, pursuit of knowledge, his teachers, his most prominent students, and those who learned from him. It also examines his creed, his school of jurisprudence, his position in the science of criticism and authentication, the breadth of his knowledge, his memory, his leadership, and his eminence in the field of Prophetic hadith, He was one of the most skilled scholars of hadith in both jurisprudence and hadith. It also highlights his efforts in the field of Prophetic hadith, focusing on his Sahih, discussing its conditions and methodology, its sources, its status among the collections of Sunnah, the degree of its hadiths, the attention scholars paid to them, and other important issues related to this study. The research is organized into an introduction that includes: the importance of the research, the research methodology, the research structure, and six chapters as follows:
The first chapter: An introduction to Imam Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Khuzaymah
The second chapter: His creed, his school of jurisprudence, his status in terms of criticism and validation, and his status among scholarsThe third chapter: His works and death
The fourth chapter: An introduction to Sahih Ibn KhuzaymaThe fifth chapter: The book's narrators, the author's conditions, and his methodology.
The sixth chapter: Its sources, its status among the collections of Sunnah, the degree of its hadiths, and the scholars' attention to it.
The final chapter concludes with a conclusion that includes the most important findings and recommendations
