The Preaching Implications in Surat An-Nasr

Abstract

One of the last verses of the Holy Qur'an revealed in Medina is Surat An-Nasr. This surah includes three verses that depict the end of the Prophet's journey, his victory, his struggle and his struggle to spread God's religion and call people to it. God's guidance for him to do what He commanded him to do at the end of his life, so that this would be a warning to the world. This surah is unanimously revealed in Medina،This study aims to uncover the reasons for God's victory and its implications for preaching, to clarify the good tidings of God's religion and its implications for preaching, and to examine the reasons for the command to glorify God and seek His forgiveness, as well as its implications for preaching in Surat An-Nasr. It consists of an introduction, a preface, three chapters, a conclusion, and sources and references. To achieve its objectives, the researcher used two scientific approaches: inductive and deductive،Surat An-Nasr clarifies and reveals the landmarks of the path of calling to God in its concluding chapters, which illuminate the methodology of preachers. The intended conquest in the Surah is the conquest of Mecca, as the scholars have confirmed. It is the Qiblah of the Muslims and the most beloved place to God and His Messenger. The scholars have differed regarding the time of the revelation of the Surah, with three opinions: one of them is that it was revealed before the conquest of Mecca, the second is that it was revealed after the conquest of Mecca, and the third is that it was revealed during the Farewell Pilgrimage. Al-Asqalani in Al-Fath, Al-Qasimi in Mahasin Al-Ta’wil, and Ibn Ashur in Tahrir Al-Ma’na Al-Sadeed, and it is the most apparent to the researcher.
