Abstract

This research aims to develop a comprehensive scientific conception of the components of intellectual awareness, using a methodology that combines legal foundations and intellectual analysis. It is based on the texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah, and the sayings and approaches of the early Muslims, while linking them to contemporary issues. It relies on deductive and inductive reasoning approaches. It addresses six main components: devotion to the truth, a correct understanding of the evidence of the Qur'an and Sunnah, adherence to the principles of the Sunnis, adherence to the principles of Islamic law, awareness of evils and seditions, and uncovering and refuting doubts. The research demonstrated that these components represent an integrated, interconnected system that forms a solid cognitive foundation for regulating intellectual awareness and developing its plans and programs. These components clarify the correct approach to dealing with contemporary issues and address intellectual deviations, preserving the five necessities, achieving benefits and preventing harm, enhancing security, fostering patriotism, supporting community cohesion, and guiding intellectual discourse. The research demonstrated the necessity of sustaining the consolidation of these components, and that their absence leads to weak intellectual awareness, disparate programs, and inconsistent outcomes and approaches, given the challenges facing societies. Contemporary intellectual deviations are not new, but rather have a historical reach and cannot be addressed without understanding their roots, away from momentary reactions and floating public programs. The research concluded with a number of findings and recommendations that reinforce the presence of these components in educational curricula, public discourse, and intellectual programs. This ensures clarity of approach and consistency of position, achieving moderation and preventing extremism and apathy.
