The research contributes to raising awareness among Muslim youth by providing scholarly responses to the misconceptions raised about the Qur’an and promotes a sound understanding of its meanings and purposes.
The study aims to present a critical analysis of the misconceptions raised by some Orientalists regarding the Holy Qur’an, focusing specifically on Surahs Al-Ghashiyah and Al-Masad. It adopts a critical analytical methodology and relies on trusted Islamic sources to refute these misconceptions.
The research addresses various objections posed by certain Orientalists concerning the order of verses in these Surahs, as well as the use of certain words considered by some to be non-Arabic, among other points that have sparked debates about the sanctity of the Qur’anic text.
The study recommends strengthening academic research on Orientalism and its objections, in order to provide a deeper and more objective understanding of the ideas presented by Orientalists. It also advocates for the production of scholarly materials—written, audio, and visual—that respond to major Orientalist claims, and for making these resources available in various languages to broaden understanding among both Muslims and non-MuslimsEmail: osamasallam564@gmail.com
