Abstract

Poetry is a unique means of expression that carries the contradictions of human feelings, and Abdul Wahab Al-Bayati emerged as one of the icons of modern Arabic poetry, especially in his treatment of the experience of exile as a human issue. His poem "To Rafael Alberti" represents a poetic model that reflects the pain of alienation and the hope for freedom, evoking literary symbols such as Lorca, Alberti and Machado, making it a literary document that crosses borders. The study addressed this poem using the stylistic approach, focusing on the concepts of Michael Riffaterre, to reveal the aesthetic structure of the text and the internal relationships that link its symbols and images. It was found that the text blends individual and collective pain, using symbolism, metaphor and emotional tension, reflecting Al-Bayati's ability to transform suffering into an immortal literary work. The stylistic analysis also highlighted the depth of the textual coherence and the importance of poetic images in enhancing the human dimensions of the text, such as evoking symbols of artistic and political struggle to confront oppression. The study showed that artificial intelligence can analyze poetic patterns and provide similar texts, but it lacks the ability to embody emotional depth and the full human experience
