This study derives its importance from the importance of its subject, as the legitimacy of investigation procedures in the state is the basic building block of its just judiciary, which achieves the principle of legality. The ruler and the ruled are equal under the rule of law. This study aims to help the authorities responsible for accountability and investigation of employees with immunity in the Kingdom. So that it can carry out its work to the fullest extent, and also enrich the collection of scholars and researchers in this field. This study was entitled “The Legitimacy of Investigation Procedures of Employees with Immunity - A Comparative Study” in a preface chapter and four basic chapters, aiming to answer the fundamental question of this study, which is “How do we achieve procedural legitimacy in investigating employees with immunity in comparative regulations and Saudi law?” The study covers judges, members of the public prosecution, ministers, and members of parliamentary councils.
