Abstract

Abstract
The jurists, may Allah have mercy on them, made
great efforts in jurisprudential studies that attempt to answer all the questions raised about the legal texts, to know their meanings, interpretations, and the rulings they aim at.
These fruitful efforts continued in various studies on the meanings of words and their types, and ways to avoid conflict between them, including the conflict between linguistic and customary truth.
This study came to clarify the issues in which the jurists differed between carrying the linguistic or customary truth
