Abstract

Abstract
This research, titled The Relationship Between The Great History by Imam Al-Bukhari and His Al-Jami' Al-Sahih in Light of Linking Students with Narrators' Biographies: An Analytical Applied Study, examines the intricate relationship between The Great History and Al-Jami' Al-Sahih. The study highlights Imam Al-Bukhari's method of linking narrators to their students in The Great History, providing evidence for their reliability in transmitting hadiths. By presenting each student in connection with their teacher, Al-Bukhari affirms the student's trustworthiness—whether as a direct narrator, a transmitter of hadiths from books, or one who heard hadiths before the narrator's decline in precision.
The research presents an introduction, eight chapters, a conclusion, and an index. It employs inductive, analytical, and deductive methodologies to explore the relationship between these two seminal works systematically.
The study arrives at several key findings and recommendations. Notably, The Great History is the foundational framework for Al-Jami' Al-Sahih. Understanding The Great History enhances comprehension of Imam Al-Bukhari's meticulous methodology and the rationale behind his inclusion of specific narrators and their students in Al-Jami' Al-Sahih.
Among the most significant recommendations is the need for further investigation into Al-Bukhari's silent hadith evaluations by cross-referencing The Great History and Al-Jami' Al-Sahih.
