The Prophet Muhammad’s (peace and blessings be upon him) humanity is an established fact according to the Quran and Sunnah. He possessed specific characteristics with which God Almighty distinguished him, yet he ate, drank, slept, fell ill, and experienced all that other humans experience. This research focuses on the verification (takhrij), study, and explanation of the benefits of a noble Hadith commonly known and circulated among people: “You bring your disputes to me, and I am only a human being.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as a judge and ruler, adjudicated between people based on the apparent evidence presented to him by the disputants. He might issue a judgment based on outward appearances due to the eloquence or persuasive arguments of one of the parties. Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) strongly warned against unjustly taking what belongs to others based on such an outward judgment, emphasizing that an apparent ruling does not permit taking what is not rightfully one's own. Due to the fame, profound significance, and numerous benefits of this Hadith, this research is dedicated to its thorough examination, encompassing the collection of its various narrations, verification of their authenticity (takhrij), in-depth study, and elucidation of the Hadithic, jurisprudential (fiqh), and legal (sharia) benefits derived from it.
