This study aims to collect the anomalous readings reported from Abu Amr bin Al-Ala. Despite the importance of the other readings reported from him, they have not received sufficient study, as the readings transmitted from him are sufficient, which made the mind turn to the transmitted from him and neglect the anomalous; because the transmitted is famous and the anomalous is not famous except for the four known readings. The problem of the research is: What are the anomalous readings reported from Abu Amr in Surat Al-A'raf and Al-Anfal? What is the reason for the anomalousness of these readings? What is the direction of these readings at all linguistic levels? In a statistical study of these readings, the research concluded that the number of these readings is nineteen readings, Surat Al-A'raf contains nine readings, and Surat Al-Anfal contains ten readings. What is the defect that made the reading transmitted from Abu Amr anomalous? And did these anomalous readings transmitted affect the enrichment of readings, interpretation and language? This is in addition to counting the anomalous readings reported from him in Surat Al-A'raf and Al-Anfal, with their phonetic, morphological, syntactic and semantic guidance, and explaining the guidance of the interpretive meanings they contain. The study came in two chapters: The first: a standard chapter in which I talked about the anomalous readings and their controls. The second: the applied chapter, in which I presented the anomalous readings in Surat Al-
