Abstract

This research examines the impact of the maqam context in directing the meaning of the Prophet's hadith - an applied study in the book Al-Bayan wa al-Tarif in the reasons for the occurrence of the hadith by Ibn Hamza al-Husseini. This research aspires to show the impact of the maqam context in directing the meaning, as one of the means to help remove the ambiguity and confusion of the meaning of the word, weight the possibilities, and identify similarities among the commentators of the hadith or books that revolved around the hadith.
The procedural plan of the research required an introduction in which I presented the importance of the topic, the reason for choosing it, the approach I followed, and the research plan, then a preface that I made to introduce the author and his book, presenting his name, lineage, birth, sheikhs, his scientific status, his writings, his disciples, and his death, then I talked about the book Al-Bayan and the definition, the concept of the causes of hadith, then I presented the concept of context and its types, then I followed this with the applied aspect of the research, which is the impact of the context of the maqam in guiding the significance of the Prophet's hadith, and it has nine entrances:
