Abstract

Islam has paid great attention to raise the Muslim family, because the family is considered the foundation of societies, and with the goodness of the family, the society shall be good. Since, there are a lot of threats surrounding the Muslim family in general and the Muslim family in the West in particular, it is imperative that the urgent need to adhere to the Holy Quran and contemplate the meanings and figure out the Islamic values from its guidance and verses, this thesis is tagged with the value of uprightness in the Holy Qur'an and its impact in raising the Muslim family in the West, to shed light on the influence of the Holy Qur'an to enhance the Islamic values.
The research consists of introduction, three topics, and a conclusion:
Preamble: The definition of uprightness and its use in Quranic usage:
First Theme: Applications of uprightness, with three requirements:
The first requirement: Chastity of sight
The second requirement: Chastity of tongue
The third requirement: Chastity of vulva
Second Theme: The impact of uprightness, there are two requirements:
The first requirement: The impact of uprightness on the Muslim in the secular world
The second requirement: The impact of uprightness on the Muslim in the Day of Resurrection
Third Theme: The role of uprightness in enhancing the status of the Muslim family in the West.
