This study came in the aspect of preferences, specifically: the preferences of Imam Ibn Arafa in his interpretation - Surat Al-An'am as a model -, and the importance of this study lies in its connection to the most honorable and noble of sciences, which is the interpretation of the words of God, and the fact that Imam Ibn Arafa is one of the imams of the Maliki Moroccans, as it is a collection of Ibn Arafa's preferences through Surat Al-An'am and its study, which reached nine places in Surat Al-An'am, in which his expressions in preference varied, including his saying: (the correct, the correct, and he prefers the second, rejects it, and others), he was right in most of them, and knowing Ibn Arafa's method in his interpretation by looking at his preferences, while standing on the statements of the interpreters to know the most likely of them. The most important results of this study: Ibn Arafa's interest in the differences of interpreters and the preference between their statements on scientific methodological foundations, and the emergence of his personality in his interpretation, with his lack of fanaticism, and the breadth of his knowledge and the diversity of his sources in his interpretation, which gave him scientific wealth, and the emergence of the literature of responding to the disagreement between opinions; as Ibn Arafa did not expose the owners of the statements with abuse and disparagement; rather, he only preferred and explained.
