Abstract
In research, the researcher states the importance of Science of hadith defects, and its relationship to interpolation, the emergence of interpolation, its types, and its relationship to increasing confidence, with an applied study of three hadiths being defective with insertion from the book “Aleilal” by Al-Daraqutni, and he mentioned the sayings of scholars in that. The research reached a number of findings, the most important are the following: - The interpolation is a change that occurs in the hadith, outside the narration of the hadith traceable to the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). - The association of the interpolation with the science of hadith defects. - The defect is the base and fundament from which the hadith types were branched, one of them is the interpolated one. - Originally interpolation is forbidden because it includes deception and forgery in the hadith traceable to the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). - The scholars’ view of the interpolated hadith when they talked about it, and separating it from the traceable one for reasons, as: Stating a ruling, deduction of a legal ruling, or interpretation of a strange word in hadith. - The interpolation is specific to trust hadith, as for weak hadith, it is not called it; Because the weakness of the narrator is clear and not vague or inscrutable.
