Abstract

     This study aims to shed light on the attitude of the contemporary Egyptian poetry on Western insults to the Prophet ,and present the poets' visions in refuting those malicious accusations that West's extremists spare no effort in attaching them to Islamic thought and repeating them in various ways and forms.                 
     This research is based on two axes, one of which is concerned with examining the contents of the poems whose focus is the defense of our Prophet, and to identify the most prominent ideas of them, which were: Uncovering the motives of the enemies of religion to distort the tolerance of Islam and the humanity of his Messenger, and evoke The historical and rational evidence confirming the tolerance of the Prophet and the lowliness of the aggressor, then presenting the most useful lessons and sermons that, if they were taken by the Muslim, they would help him to demonstrate the transcendence of his Sharia, the support of his Messenger, and the elevation of his nation in the eyes of the worlds.
