This research attempts to reveal the mythical employment in the Muallaqat al-Nabigha al-Dhubyani, as this poem is one of the six apologetic poems in which al-Nu’man ibn al-Mundhir - one of the kings of al-Mandazir - apologizes, denying himself the accusation, represented by saying a poem exposing the husband of al-Nu’man (the impartial), which It was considered an insult to the excommunication of the king, so the apology in this poem was based on the mythical dimension that supported the text and stimulated criticism to read it, in addition to the poet's serious attempt to confirm the value system, and activate it within the creative space.
