The research reviews the image of passion in the poetry of al-Abbas ibn al-Ahnaf in terms of his attitude towards it, and the negative effects that he senses in his conscience and emotions, and what affects his psyche from desertion and repulsion from his beloved. And pressure on the poet, and from these images: the fierce enemy, the incurable disease, the depths of passion, the domineering king, the heavy burden, the heavy guest, the bitter basin ... etc.
