Historical stages and contemporary approaches to authorship in the science of maqasid

Abstract

The scholars of Islam were interested in talking about the objectives of Sharia and codifying them, and the authorship of the science of objectives passed through four stages: In the first stage, the discussion about objectives was in the form of general signs and preliminary terms. In the second stage, he developed this science by clarifying the types of purposes and their ranks. In the third stage, major additions were made in talking about the purposes and their types. In the fourth stage, the science of maqasid developed qualitatively, and it was established as an independent science with full pillars and received great attention. In this era, there have been calls for the renewal of this science with additions in the types of purposes, and the disclosure of purposes in legal issues in order to build on them provisions for new developments, and renewal by creating new purposes through extrapolation of texts, restructuring and organization of intentional topics, analysis and criticism of terms and concepts, and activating purposes in developments. And development in the general writing of the purposes. This research will study the foregoing in two sections: the first explains the historical stages of authorship in the science of maqasid, and the second: clarifies the contemporary methods of research in the science of maqasid, the contemporary paths in the science of maqasid, and the conclusion comes to show the results of the research.
