Abstract

This research aims to investigate the rule book by Wali al-Din al-Malwy, and to present a study about it and its author. This book is concerned with an explanation of the jurisprudential rules that follow the course of the Imam Shafi'i school of thought and the rules under it, and the major rules of al-Malawi amounted to six rules. In the academic section of this research, I followed the inductive-analytical method, and I was committed to extracting the text of the manuscript according to the rules of investigation followed. Among the most prominent results of the research: a comprehensive study presentation on the author, and the study proved the validity of the book’s attribution to its author. The impact of this value has appeared in the benefit of some scholars from this book and the transfer of it in their works. Also, the researcher tried to produce the author’s text scientifically as wanted by its author, or close to that.”
