Abstract

The work of universities is based on three pillars; Education, scientific research, and community service, and the university has been keen to develop these pillars and pillars, especially as it is now seeking to obtain (programmatic) accreditation from (the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation / Education Evaluation Commission) after obtaining the (institutional) accreditation, thanks to God Almighty and his end. . In pursuit of the Islamic University to harmonize the future plan for higher education (Horizons) and the Kingdom’s vision (2030), concrete steps have been taken in developing the university’s pillars, and based on the fourth goal in the second strategic plan of the Islamic University (1437-1441 AH), which states: (Development of the research system scientific research, and enhancing its productivity to serve the local and global community), and a desire to advance the march of that research system at the university to achieve its vision of being (a global Islamic beacon in knowledge and development), and to achieve its mission of being: and other knowledge of students from countries of the world, and concerned with scientific research and distinguished community services), we seek to do an inductive, descriptive and analytical study of the messages of the Department of Jurisprudence at the Faculty of Sharia at the Islamic University, which is one of the oldest and most important legal scientific departments in Saudi universities and in the Islamic University in particular, where it was written in the department To date, a large number of theses for the master's and doctoral levels, numbering about (1149) theses, and until now (they have not) been extrapolated and defined The research directions of the department and the extent to which it achieves the objectives of the university, the college and the department, and the extent to which these messages achieve the research directions of the university, and its strategic plan. This study dealt with all university theses registered in the Department of Jurisprudence from its inception until the end of the first semester of the academic year 1440 AH.
