Moroccan narrations and explanations of Sahih Muslim

Abstract

The study aimed to introduce the most important and oldest Moroccan narrations of Sahih Muslim, and to introduce the most famous Moroccan narrators who had the advantage of introducing Sahih Muslim to the Maghreb, publishing and narrating it. Sahih Muslim is considered the second most correct book after the Noble Qur’an, and this book received unparalleled attention from scholars in the east and west, so they devoted themselves to narration, study, explanation and commentary.. Western Islamic scholars had many scientific trips to listen to Muslim’s book and his narration in the countries of the Islamic West, such as Habasha al-Yahsibi al-Qayrawani, Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn al-Zahtaal and others, and the translation was done by these narrators and their leadership in the narration of Sahih Muslim and its publication in the countries of the Islamic West, as well as the presentation of the most important explanations for scholars of the Islamic West on Sahih Muslim.
