Abstract

Objective of the research: The research aims to define the science of the Prophet’s merits, to clarify its subject, its importance, the emergence of blogging in it and the works in it, and to indicate the method of its authors, the studies around it, and the difference between it and the sciences close to it. Research Methodology: The researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The most important results of the research: He came out with several results, the most important of which are: the definition of the science of the Prophet’s Shama’il, then the definition of the origin of blogging in it, and its importance, then the statement of the books classified therein. Scholars with it and studies about it, then introducing the most famous and most important books of Al-Shama’il and explaining the methods of their authors. I recommend that the subject of "prophetic merits" needs more attention and studies on it. And that is by limiting the books written in it and providing their written copies and then verifying, studying and printing them in an elaborate format, as well as writing research in the curricula of the works of this science.
