Abstract

The study aimed to study the time of the speech in the book Brides of Majalis by Al-Thalabi, through the constructional method, through three sections: The first topic: temporal paradoxes; anticipation and retrieval. And the second topic: duration. And in which I studied the scene, and the pause (the rest). Total deletion (addition). And the third topic: In it I studied the frequency. The study reached a number of results, including: Al-Thalabi has employed time technically - to some extent - through the use of anticipation, retrieval, duration and repetition techniques, so the time of the stories of the prophets came arranged in the councils’ puppets, not as it is in its sources from the Noble Qur’an and the honorable hadith, but according to the purposes of Al-Thalabi And his goals, as his blog approached the purely structural narrative text, and his ingenuity appeared in owning the corner of the story and its good arrangement from an introduction to a conclusion. All the techniques of time were available in the Al-Thalabi blog, but in a varying manner, and they contributed to moving the narration sometimes and stopping it at other times, and the frequency of the news had a semantic trend, as well as the description and pauses
