Abstract

Intercourse during menstruation, with the knowledge of the prohibition, is very great. Its prohibition is proven by the Qur’an, Sunnah and consensus, and it is an expiation for what is permissible. And directing a menstruating woman above the navel and below the knee is permissible according to the majority of jurists. Or the severity of piety, jazz, otherwise not. And it is forbidden to have intercourse with a menstruating woman until she becomes pure. And intercourse during menstruation has many harms. Islam forbade intercourse during menstruation, so the latest methods of modern sexual education preceded this. And the harms of menstruation cause a person what he has no power to do from pains and diseases. And lack of abstinence and lack of reason.
The wife can leave some of her rights to her husband and to purify himself by doing so
