Masculinity, its components and characteristics in Islam, a study that combines the Book and the Sunnah with a contemporary view

Abstract

The research deals with a major issue related to the two poles of human existence, man and woman, starting with the origin of the man (Adam) and ending with the branch of woman (Eve) depending on the authentic textual sources (the Qur’an and the Sunnah). And two sections. As for the preface, the most important elements of masculinity were shown in it as mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah, starting with the creation of Adam and ending with the creation of Eve and the accompanying manifestations of honoring men over women. Divorce, jihad, polygamy, guardianship in marriage, divorce, guardianship, and beginning the discourse. The second topic: showed the manifestations of the preference of men over women in the legal rulings, the most important of which are: purity, prayer, imam, veil, fasting, i’tikaf, pilgrimage, travel, alimony, dowry, testimony and inheritance.
