Abstract

Compassion and mercy are essential qualities in the life of a preacher, which he must possess in his call to God. They are two vital elements in preaching, and their impact is significant in attracting hearts and opening minds. They are not merely human feelings, but rather effective tools for influencing others and attracting them to goodness. They are considered among the most important foundations of a preacher's influence and success. The preacher who exemplifies these qualities can reach people's hearts.
And it affects them more. Therefore, I undertook to verify and study this treatise entitled "Mercy and Compassion" by Mustafa ibn Muhammad, for the hadiths and prophetic guidance it contains, as well as the traditions it contains from the nation's predecessors, on the importance of mercy and compassion. In verifying this manuscript, I followed the following steps: copying and printing on a computer. I then attributed the verses to their contexts, and the hadiths and traditions to their sources. I also indicated the degree of the hadith if it is not in the two Sahihs, and attributed it to the Prophet. Sayings also belong to their speakers, and I have clarified what the speaker is ignorant of. I have carefully documented the prophetic texts mentioned by the author, and clarified the strange language by referring to commentaries and linguistic books. I have discussed the role of mercy and compassion in calling to God Almighty, and the importance of compassion and compassion in the life of the preacher and the affairs of his call. They attract hearts, mercy and compassion in diversity, and guidance to God.
